Since the institutional philosophy of KMOMA promotes a meaningful engagement with the community, it launched in 2012, with the Indian Chamber of Commerce, a project in partnership with city schools. This ongoing project to be done in phases is called “Museum Beyond The Walls” and seeks to spread public art awareness. The first phase involved…….city schools in graffiti workshops in different localities conducted by well-known artists. Children from both upscale private institutions and Corporation schools were chosen for this scheme of fun learning.
